Otto is a new kind of product called a Playback Director. This revolutionary device allows you to easily direct and schedule video content to be played over your local or in-house TV channel without having to rely on videotape. That's right, no videotape hassles!

Otto captures your videotape programs and converts them to clean, crisp digital video files. Once your programs are digital files, you can easily schedule them to be played—or as the pros say, "re-broadcast"—on your own in-house TV channel. Create your own programming schedule for the day, week or month. Imagine playing video programs back automatically without needing to be there!

Scheduling a video playback is as easy as drag-and-drop. With the software loaded on your PC, simply drag a program from Otto's Media Palette, drop it onto the calendar, and you're ready to re-broadcast it over your TV channel.

You certainly know the miserable hassles of using videotape: searching for the right tape; fast-forwarding to cue it up; rewinding each tape when it ends; ejecting and constantly switching tapes. You might not realize it, but you're physically tied to your VCR. And with videotape, the picture quality degrades each time you play it until you're eventually left with a fuzzy, snowy image which finally jams or breaks.

Otto Playback Director can record and play back over 100 hours of digital-quality video programming. Instead of searching through racks and racks of videotapes, simply choose the program from the Media Palette and schedule it for playback. At the scheduled time, the program will automatically begin playing. No inserting, no cuing and no ejecting tape. No tapes! And since the programs are stored in digital form, you can play back thousands of times without ever losing quality.
